# Routing availability

> Check which hosts would be available for a routing form response before a real person submits it.

**Routing availability** answers the question "if someone filled in this form with these answers, who could they book, and when?" It runs your routing form's rules, then shows a month of time slots with the hosts available for each one.

> [!NOTE]
>
> Routing availability is for organization admins. It appears under **Insights** only if you have permission to view insights for the whole organization. It works on desktop screens only.

## Check availability for a response

![Routing availability page with Timezone and Routing Form selectors](https://mintcdn.com/calcomhelp/VlJsctpF2_NloGzH/images/insights/routing-availability.png?fit=max\&auto=format\&n=VlJsctpF2_NloGzH\&q=85\&s=7e8ace603a0975a657bfc35827abd1ab)

1. Go to **Insights** > [**Routing availability**](https://app.cal.com/insights/routing-availability).
2. Choose a **Timezone** to show the slots in.
3. Choose a **Routing form**.
4. Fill in the form answers you want to test.
5. Click **See available hosts**.

The panel shows which route matched and which members the routing rules selected. The calendar shows every open slot for the month. Click a slot to see the hosts available at that time. Use the arrows in the header to move to the previous or next month.

If the answers match a route that shows a custom message or redirects to an external URL, there is no availability to show, and the page tells you so.

> [!TIP]
>
> Use this to confirm a change to your routing rules or [attributes](https://cal.com/help/routing/routing-with-attributes.md) before it affects real bookers, or to explain why a booker saw no available times.
