API keys let other apps make API calls for your Cal.com account. Each key acts as you, so keep it secret.
Go to Settings > Developer > API keys.
Create an API key
- Click New, or Create your first API key if you don’t have one yet.
- Under Name this key, give it a name that tells you where it’s used, for example “Development”.
- Choose when it expires: 7 days, 30 days, 3 months or 1 year. Turn on Never expires for a key with no expiration date.
- Click Create.
- Click Copy to clipboard and save the key somewhere safe, then click Done.
You can only see the key once. If you lose it, delete it and create a new one.
Manage your keys
Your keys are listed with their name and expiry date. Expired keys are marked Expired.
Open the Options menu on a key to:
- Edit: change its name.
- Delete: revoke the key. Any app using it stops working right away. Click Revoke this API key to confirm.
Use your key
See the API reference for how to send your key with requests.
